AI patch designer

Explore an embroidered badge with an AI patch designer. Describe an original emblem, border and color direction, then use the image to discuss a practical patch with a maker or embroidery digitizer.

Try an embroidered patch idea

Try the selected new reference and starter prompt, or replace the image with a reference you have permission to use.

From a brief to a reviewed concept

  1. 1

    Define a simple emblem

Try the selected snail reference or your own permitted sketch. Describe the patch shape, central subject, border and a small set of thread colors.

  2. 2

    Check readability at patch size

Choose Generate patch concept. Review the silhouette, thin details and gaps. Apparent stitches are visual texture and may not translate directly to embroidery.

  3. 3

    Work with a patch maker

Agree on actual size, backing, edge treatment and thread choices. Have the design digitized and review a stitch-out before making a batch.

What to explore and check

Badge shape and border studies

Explore a round, shield-like or softly triangular outline. A clear outer shape can help communicate the desired edge treatment to a maker.

Small color palettes

Compare a few broad color areas and a recognizable central emblem. Final thread counts and stitching choices depend on the maker and design size.

Embroidery appearance

Use texture to explore a textile direction. Machine paths, density, underlay and stitch order are separate production decisions.

Questions before you start

Does it produce DST, PES or embroidery machine files?

No. It generates an image concept. A digitizer must prepare and test the stitch file for the intended machine, material and patch size.

Can it make a woven or PVC patch?

You can request a visual interpretation of those materials. Manufacturing rules, detail limits and tooling must be checked with the relevant supplier.

Can I include a club name or short phrase?

You can request text, but check every character. Set the final wording accurately and confirm its legibility with the maker at the actual size.

Can I use the designs commercially?

Paid-plan outputs carry Astorie commercial rights, subject to model-provider terms and your rights to the inputs. Free-plan generations are for personal, non-commercial evaluation; upgrading covers new generations going forward. Check the current commercial-use policy before selling work.

What should I know before uploading a reference?

Under standard consumer, free, pro and team terms, Astorie may use uploads, prompts and outputs for training and improvement. Providers have separate policies; enterprise training opt-out requires a written agreement. Deletion may not remove data already used in training. Review the current privacy policy before uploading sensitive work.
