How to Explore a 3D World from an Image in 4 Steps
Start with a location still or concept frame that clearly shows the layout of the space you want to explore.
- 1
Select an image with clear spatial depth
Choose or generate an interior room, street, courtyard or landscape image where the floor plane, main structures and distance cues are easy to read. Avoid extreme close-ups or heavy motion blur.
- 2
Open a supported world model on the canvas
Add the world-generation stage on the Astorie canvas, such as the World Labs workflow, and supply your scene reference image or short spatial brief according to the active node controls.
- 3
Navigate and test camera viewpoints
Once the interactive 3D world preview loads, pan and orbit the camera to inspect how the foreground, midrange and background hold together from nearby angles.
- 4
Capture reference angles for downstream shots
Save or screenshot the viewpoints that hold up visually and pass those captured frames into Image or Video nodes to keep location layout consistent across your sequence.
