Reference Lettering
Identify what should change
- The front face carries large decorative lettering.
- Paper texture, box seams and lighting provide context for the brief.

Choose the gift-box sample or upload one image you may edit. Describe the lettering to remove and the surface behind it, then compare the regenerated scene.
Concept illustration: decorative words on a fictional gift box are replaced with a plain paper surface. These images explain the editing goal; they are not verified outputs from this Astorie generator.
Identify what should change

Inspect the whole image

Keep the source available for comparison. Use a copy when the original matters.
Select Gift box with lettering, or upload one image whose lettering you are permitted to edit. Use a clear reference so the text and surrounding surface are readable.
Choose Printed lettering or Text overlay, then edit Describe the text removal. Identify the letters or region and describe the material, pattern and light that should replace them.
Select Generate text removal and sign in if prompted. Review the text area and the rest of the scene for leftover characters, texture changes, distorted edges and unintended edits. Refine the brief if needed.
Text can cover a flat area, a textured material or a scene with depth. Describe what belongs in its place.
Identify the specific lettering and request paper, cardboard or fabric texture that follows the existing light. Review the product shape and seams as well as the cleaned area.
Explain the background behind an added caption, including objects or edges that cross it. The model creates a plausible replacement; it cannot recover the original hidden pixels.
Use the edit as a new image candidate for a layout. For exact brand, legal or pixel-level requirements, keep an editable source and use a layer-based editor.
The inline generator creates a new image from one reference and a written brief.
| Input | One sample or uploaded reference image, a cleanup preset and an editable prompt. | |
|---|---|---|
| Output | A regenerated still image. Lettering, surrounding texture, geometry and other details may change. | |
| Flattened text | Describe the visible lettering and the surface to rebuild. The form does not select or delete an editable text layer. | |
| Exact restoration | Hidden original pixels cannot be recovered from the flattened image. Use the original layered file when exact text-layer removal is required. |
Unintended changes are possible. Ask for the surrounding scene to stay close to the reference, then inspect the whole result; a prompt does not guarantee that every other pixel will stay unchanged.
You can request a text-free interpretation of lettering on packaging or another surface. Name the words and material, then compare the product outline, seams, texture and shadows with the source.
No. The generator creates a plausible replacement from the visible context. It cannot determine the original hidden pixels from a flattened photograph.
No. This workflow regenerates image pixels. Use a layer-based editor to delete an existing text layer, or an OCR tool when you need to extract text.
Check the current credit requirement in your signed-in generation flow before running the request. Available models and account terms can affect the cost; a page visit does not run a generation.
Paid-plan generations carry commercial rights subject to model-provider terms and your rights to the inputs. Free-plan outputs are for personal, non-commercial evaluation; upgrading applies to new generations. Check the current policy before client or advertising work.
Under default consumer, free, pro and team terms, uploads, prompts and outputs may be used for training and product improvement. Third-party provider policies apply. Enterprise opt-out requires a separate written agreement. Files are retained with projects; deletion follows the standard schedule, and information already used in training or derived datasets may persist.
Try the gift-box reference and describe the clean surface you want to explore. Keep the original available for a careful comparison.
